About the Book Club

This summer we are excited about a special collection of books we'll be reading. We've ganged up with Night Shade Books to present a summer of reading from their collection of fine books. The kind folks have also dontated a ton of goodies for us to give away at the monthly meeting. So make sure you grab a copy, get reading, and join us on the second Sunday of each month!

QSF&F is a book club for LGBTQ and LGBTQ-friendly people who love reading all kinds of science fiction, fantasy, even a little bit of horror, and anything that could loosely fall into any of these categories. We meet the second Sunday of each month at 5pm at Borderlands Books on Valencia Street in the heart of the Mission District of San Francisco. Now that Borderlands Cafe is open, we might also meet there since they have a small alcove with couches and comfy chairs in the back. Check in at the counter of either the bookstore or the cafe and we'll make sure that you know where to meet us. We also occasionally have movie nights, get togethers, and other thematically planned events.
